Built in an afternoon while the Bug Fire burned north of Reno, and restarted for the Hawk Fire — evacuation map lookup, official figures, shelters, and closures in one file that loads on a phone with one bar.
Forestry Diary
A digital archive of 7,500+ pages of US Forest Service ranger diaries from 1927 to 1945, with full-text search and AI-assisted OCR and summarisation.
Stirling City Historical Society
Site for the 501(c)(3) preserving the history of the mountain town I grew up in, including visitor information and the museum’s exhibits.

Community advocacy for a damaged evacuation corridor in northern California — maps, photography, and repair progress.

A satirical micro-site built to see how fast modern AI tooling could take a joke from idea to production.
Camp Fire Resource
The first of these. One page of links for Paradise and Magalia during the 2018 Camp Fire, because the people I knew could not keep track of a dozen official sites at once. No archived copy survives.
Dixie Fire Support
